I am a PhD candidate at the Department for Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and my main scholarly interests are situated in the fields of intellectual and political history of the 19th and 20th century, intellectual immigration and two-directional transfers of knowledge and habitus. My dissertation project, written under the supervision of Prof. Yfaat Weiss, is devoted to the life and works of Israeli émigré historians who engaged in Modern German History and their discursive contributions to the international and moreover to West-German historiography.

My volunteer work is dedicated to establishing an Arab-Jewish partnership in the Faculty of the Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The partnership aims at promoting a tolerant inter-cultural sphere within the faculty, and to improve the academic experience of Arab students in the faculty. The partnership will be comprised of students from both societies and lead by two coordinators, employed and instructed by the Social Involvement Unit at the Dean of Students Office. The partnership is planned to function not as yet another dialog group, but as a working team, aimed at the following goals: establishing frameworks for lingual exchanges, organizing intellectual bi-lingual events and seminars, translating 'call for proposals' to Arabic on a frequent basis, mapping the specific needs of Arab students within the departments and working out solutions, promoting confidence between Arab students and the administrative staff, promoting signposting in Arabic, etc.
