Ohad is a PhD student at the department of Cognitive sciences and at the Federman Center for the Study of Rationality. Ohad graduated his B.Sc in computer science at the Hebrew University. For his M.Sc, in computational neuroscience under the supervision of Prof. Idan Segev, he was awarded the Dean prize from the faculty of Science and the Hebrew University rector prize. In his PhD research, under the supervision of Prof. Yonatan Lowenstein, he studies intelligent behavior and seeks computational explanations for real-world and lab-induced behavioral phenomena, focusing on decision making and reinforcement learning.

 

Ohad believes that the key for a better future is education. In recent years, he worked with gifted youth and promoted scientific education in private and institutional frameworks. These days, Ohad is active at MEET, an initiative of MIT University to bring together talented Israeli and Palestinian youth, the leaders of tomorrow, for joint ventures of technology, entrepreneurship and deeper mutual understanding.
